Gold Bridge Shipping Ltd (GBS) was established in Hong Kong in year 1990, and since August 2016 open its representative office in Jakarta.  As Ship Management Company, GBS offers wide range of ship management services for Oil, Chemical, and Gas Tankers. GBS has recognition by Oil Majors Companies for its qualified management system which is in line with its motto; “Deliver with Safety and Care”.

GBS is recognised by major international chemical manufacturers and oil companies for its reputable management system with its motto “Delivers with Safety and Care”.

Since August 2016 GBS has opened its representative office in Jakarta, offering various of services to Indonesian shipping companies. Amongst all, GBS Jakarta focuses on providing full fledge Ship Management services to companies operating Oil, Chemical, and Gas Tankers.

Capt Lau Pong Sze started his career as Chief Officer on board since 1974 and became Master Mariner in 1979.  He then joined Galleny & Co as Port Captain/Shipping Manager from 1987 up to 1990.  After that he joined Gold Bridge Shipping Ltd as Deputy Manager from 1990-1995 to become the General Manager until year 2000. Since year 2000 Capt Lau is the Director of Gold Bridge Shipping Ltd. 

CAPT. MUHAMMED JALAL UDDIN

Captain Uddin has passed from Marine Academy, Bangladesh in 1977 and served various Shipping Companies.  He has 37 years of experience in shipping industry both ashore and at sea. He spent his first 18 years sailing on various types of vessels including Oil tankers and Bulk Carriers starting from cadet up to becoming a Master in 1994. He joined Gold Bridge Shipping Ltd in 1996 as Port Captain. Holding a Class 1 Master Mariner licensee from United Kingdom, he is now the Technical Director of Gold Bridge Shipping Ltd since 2007 till to date. He holds position for DPA, CSO, Management of Vetting/ Safety Inspection, both internal and external audits, TSMA compliance, etc.  He has good knowledge and experience on crew management, crew development, insurance & claims, demurrage and support for commercial and operations.  He is Member of Nautical Institute of United Kingdom.

YEAP BEOW HONG

Yeap Beow Hong has been in the shipping industry since 1988 from both at sea and ashore with experiences on various type of vessels. He has a strong background with international experience gained during the past 20 years of increasingly senior positions in Ship Management. Yeap current role as Technical Management oversees the fleet Management teams responsible for all technical matter, vessel performances, technical advice, supervising technical repairs, budget control & supervising the construction of new building vessels.

Yeap academically obtained his MSc in Maritime Studies from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and Class one COC Marine engineer after his graduated from Singapore Polytechnic Marine Engineering since 1988.
